A Cell World Model
to End“Trial and Error”in the Life Sciences.
Technology & Services
Concept
AI that Understands"the World of Cells"and Predicts What Comes Next
Sekai Biotech is developing a Cell World Model that integrates AI with automated experimentation in a continuous learning loop. By predicting and controlling cellular state transitions, we aim to accelerate drug discovery, improve toxicity assessment, and advance disease model development.

Solution
Forward Prediction andInverse Designare Transforming Exploration in the Life Sciences
The Cell World Model supports both forward prediction—from intervention to outcome—and inverse design—from a target state to an optimal intervention. Together, these capabilities enable systematic, bidirectional exploration beyond conventional trial and error.

Technology
An Integrated,Closed-LoopPlatform for Autonomous Experimentation
Rather than treating AI models and laboratory systems as separate components, we integrate them into a unified closed loop. AI generates hypotheses and designs experiments; automated laboratory systems execute them; and the resulting data are analyzed to determine the next experiment. By running this cycle autonomously and continuously, the platform refines the world model and improves its experimental strategy through reinforcement learning.
